For businesses & communities
Places have a human side.
Pulse Map is exploring how collective emotional patterns could help organizations understand the places they serve—with privacy built into what they can learn.
A different kind of place-based context
Foot traffic and transactions describe activity. They do not, by themselves, describe how a place feels. Pulse Map’s longer-term business direction is to explore that additional context through privacy-protected collective patterns across approved places and times.
That could be relevant to organizations working with places and communities. We are still defining the first customer group, permitted uses, and the evidence needed to establish usefulness. Collective patterns would not establish what every resident or customer feels, or prove that a business decision caused a change.
Two separate directions
Privacy-protected insights
A future product could present approved aggregate place and time patterns. Its scope would require separate privacy review, participant notice, and release decisions. Individual contributions, raw explanations, and original protected history would not be customer products.
Contextual sponsorship
A separate future direction could support appropriately labeled sponsorship by approved broad geography, time, and placement. Emotion and emotional trends must not be used to select or target advertising.
What stays off the table
Identifying contributors, selling individual emotional data, emotional profiling, and targeting people in vulnerable moments conflict with Pulse Map’s principles. Business value must come from collective understanding while preserving those limits.
Building toward the right first use
The immediate product focus is the consumer MVP and the operating tools it needs. Business offerings will be defined and released separately. No pricing, customer availability, launch region, or commercial-results claims have been announced.
