Pulse Map Inc. operates this marketing website. This notice explains how information is handled when you visit these pages, subscribe to Pulse Notes, or contact us about the website.

Effective October 23, 2026.

What this notice covers

This website explains the Pulse Map project and its development. It does not create app accounts, accept emotional contributions, request device location permission, or process purchases. This notice also covers our Pulse Notes newsletter. The app and future business services require their own applicable notices. Descriptions of the app’s privacy design are not descriptions of website or newsletter information.

Information handled by the website

• Technical requests. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes information needed to deliver and protect these pages. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, request times, a referring page, and an approximate location derived from an IP address.
• Messages you send. If you email or write to us, we receive your contact details, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to include. Email to the address below is handled through Microsoft 365 provided by GoDaddy.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. Please include only the information needed for your request and avoid sending precise location or sensitive emotional or health information.

Pulse Notes newsletter

Newsletter signup from this website is not open yet. This section describes the subscription flow we are preparing.

We use beehiiv to host Pulse Notes, manage voluntary subscriptions, and deliver email editions and related project updates. The signup link takes you to a page hosted by beehiiv. Merely viewing this marketing website does not load a beehiiv form or send your email address to it.

If you subscribe, beehiiv processes your email address, subscription and confirmation status, signup source and time, and technical information such as IP address and browser information. You will be asked to confirm your email before receiving newsletter editions. Confirmation helps prevent unwanted subscriptions; an unconfirmed signup will not receive the newsletter.

Newsletter delivery and engagement reports may include delivery errors, email opens and link clicks. Email images, tracked links, and technologies on the hosted publication can support those reports. We use them to understand readership and improve the publication. They are not reliable measures of individual attention, and they are separate from anonymous app participation. Newsletter email addresses and engagement records are not joined to individual app contributions.

You can unsubscribe using the link in each newsletter or contact us at the address below. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter editions; it does not necessarily delete prior correspondence, provider backups, or records needed to honor your unsubscribe choice. You can also request access, correction, or deletion. Our newsletter is intended for readers 18 and older.

beehiiv processes subscriber information for us and handles some service information for its own purposes. Read its privacy policy for those practices. Its service terms and our website and newsletter terms also apply. Subscribing is free and does not create an app account, reserve beta access, or establish a business-customer relationship.

How information is used and disclosed

We use website information to serve pages, investigate errors, prevent abuse, respond to inquiries, and handle legal obligations or claims. Hosting, newsletter, and email providers process information in connection with those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website or people’s rights and safety.

Vercel also processes some service-generated information under its own privacy notice. For information about our email providers’ practices, see Microsoft’s privacy statement and GoDaddy’s privacy notice. These services may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Pulse Map does not sell website visitor information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This website does not connect visitor information, newsletter subscriptions, or inquiries to individual app contributions.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking signals

We have not added audience analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, or marketing cookies to the pulse-map.com marketing pages. The beehiiv-hosted publication and newsletter have the separate delivery and engagement practices described above. Hosting and access protection services may use essential cookies or similar technologies to deliver or secure the site. That technical processing is separate from audience analytics.

The website does not change its operation in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Pulse Map does not track visitors across other websites for advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking essential cookies may affect access to a protected preview.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence for the time needed to address the inquiry, maintain relevant business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Those needs determine when a message can be deleted. Hosting, newsletter, and email services retain technical records and backups under their applicable policies and settings; deleting a message does not necessarily remove every provider backup immediately.

This website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can contact us to ask about information we hold concerning you or request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, including rights to object to or restrict processing, obtain a copy of your information, or raise a concern with a privacy regulator.

We will assess requests under applicable law. We may need information proportionate to the request to confirm that it relates to you, and some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Please do not send identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are necessary and provide an appropriate way to supply them.

Children and external links

This marketing website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

If you follow a link to another website, that service’s privacy notice applies to your activity there. A link does not give that service access to Pulse Map app contributions through this website.

Updates to this notice

We will update this page when website practices change and show the revised date. Before enabling another collection feature, we will explain the relevant information, provider, purpose, and available choices. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
